With heart pumping rides and an awesome kids water playground it’s fun for the entire family at Wet‘n’Wild Gold Coast. We’ve listed a few of our favourite slides, rides and attractions not to be missed at this theme park.
The Tornado ride is a great way to start your day, jumping into either a two or four person tube, you are launched down a tunnel, to then make the drop into the Tornado’s funnel, you’ll be spun up and around the sides, before making the final drop into the calm water below. To start your heart racing again your next stop is the Kamikaze which will have you travelling up to 50km/h with this giant 11 metre drop, this is one ride that will have you gripping on tight.
The Mach 5 is a three person tube with the two longest slides at Wet‘n’Wild Gold Coast theme park, the Sidewinders will have you playing serious corners with your family and friends, or race them down the Jetstream body slide. The Constrictor water ride has some of the tightest turns in the world, you can hit speeds of almost 30km/h, but hold on near the end of this ride there is a 360-degree coil tube before you can make it out of the belly of this snake.
Aqua Loop is a transparent slide where you are released through the trap door, down the 40 foot slide, with twists and speeds up to 60km/h. Then onto the Super 8, it’s a great way to tell where you rank amongst friends with eight lanes, drag lights and a timer at the end of this racing ride. River Rapids with two slides to choose from will have you slipping and sliding your way down either the open air or enclosed slide.
For the younger kids check out Wet’n’Wild Junior with great mini versions of our popular Wet‘n’Wild Gold Coast slides designed just for kids. With multi-level action and a giant tipping bucket the kids will be entertained for hours. Don’t miss Calypso Beach, you can relax after your action packed day where you can laze around on a tube as you float along the winding river or take a dip and cool off in the Giant Wave Pool.
At Wet‘n’Wild Gold Coast they have some pay per play rides, which means they aren’t included in the general admission cost, but there are some awesome experiences if you want something more. On the Sky Coaster ride you’re strapped in a harness 50 metres from the ground below, it’s up to you to pull the rip cord so you dive face first to the ground and wave pool below.
