What is the cost of damage cover?

The cost of damage cover is included in the total daily price of the rental. Our rental cars start at $20/day.

What if I extend my holiday of just need 1 extra day?

The Gold Coast is a great holiday destination, and its very possible you may extend your holiday. If you do, just give us a call and you pay the same rate for the extra days. We don’t like hidden fees and charges, we charge one fixed rate per day.

What happens if I have an accident in the rental car?

Its OK, first, check to make sure you and any other passengers are ok. Call us as soon as you can, we can help you from there. Damage cover is included in all rates, all vehicles carry a renter/hirers damage liability of $1,500.00

Do you have baby seats?

Yes! We can provide you with baby seats and child booster seats. Just make sure you let us know you need one or select it when placing your reservation online.

What are the licence requirements?

A current full/open Australian or overseas driving license must be produced at commencement of hire. Minimum age is 21.

Can you provide suggestions for things to do?

We sure can! We have complimentary maps and brochures, ask our friendly staff for some tips on popular places to visit during your stay.

Can I pick up or Drop off at Brisbane Airport?

We only operate at the Gold Coast Airport and all vehicles are rented from and returned at this location.

What information will I need to book a vehicle?

You’ll need: 1. The pick-up date, and time 2. The return date and time 3. The type of vehicle you want to hire 4. Your personal contact details

Is there a charge for additional drivers?

There is no charge for additional drivers. When you pick up the car at the start of the hire you can add drivers to the rental agreement without incurring any additional charges.

What happens in the event of an infringement or toll notice?

In the event that Economy receives an infringement notice for a speeding, toll notice / parking, or other traffic infringement relating to the period the vehicle was on hire, Economy will process a statutory declaration stating that the vehicle was on hire and provide name, address, and driver licence details of the hirer. The authority who issues the infringement notice will then forward the infringement notice to the hirer requesting payment. Economy charges the hirer a $25 administration fee for the time taken to process the statutory declaration and transfer of liability notice.

Do you charge a card transaction fee on car rentals?

No. We accept Visa/Mastercard/Diners & Amex and do not charge a card transaction fee.
