Coolangatta is the place to be this June from the 5th through to the 9th with the return of the always popular Cooly Rocks on Festival. With music, cars and family fun and entertainment the signature 50s, 60s and 70s rock’n’roll festival is one of the largest in Australia. With a host of outdoor stages and spread over several venues across Coolangatta.
The popular events of previous years are back this year with the Show ‘n’ Shine, Retro Markets, Poodle Parade, Dance Workshops, Miss Cooly Rocks On™ and the favourite of all the Street Parade.
See bands and artists from The Lincolns, The Memphis Suns, Dezzie D and the Stingrayz, Jake and the Cadillacs and Ella Fontaine and the Sugar Shakers.
At Cooly Rocks On there are stalls filled with vintage brick-a-brack, clothes, antiques and cuisine. With so much to see, do and eat you are bound to make some great memories and make some great new friends.
